Trotwood police release 2014 fatal chase video

Description: The Trotwood Police Department released cruiser cam video Thursday of a chase in July 2014 that ended with the death of an innocent man walking down the street. The video shows the last minutes of the chase that ultimately ended at Olive and Shiloh Springs road with police pulling their weapons and securing the area. Aaron Johnson pleaded guilty Wednesday to multiple charges in the death of Agyasi Ector. Ector was walking to work near the abandoned Kmart store when Johnson’s car struck him in July 2014. Police were chasing Johnson during a drug investigation. The chase started in the area of Salem Avenue and Olive Road. Johnson is awaiting sentencing.
