'Globe of Death' riders horror accident during performance in Washington
Description: The "Globe of Death" has survivors. Three motorcyclists performing with the Jordan World Circus at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup, Wash. last weekend had a scary fall as the three riders fell to the bottom of the spherical cage they were riding simultaneously. A video provided by TV Station KING5 shows the performers ride consecutive 360 flips in a single line and then move up to the side of the cage. But it appears two of the riders collided with each other and the trio all crashed to the ground. The audience immediately understood the dangers of the accident and got quiet as a crew of people rushed to open the cage and tend to the riders. But the Las Vegas based circus announced on its Facebook page Sunday that they will survive their injuries. One motorcyclist has a broken leg and another has a broken rib, the circus states. "Let me tell you that they are OK!" the announcement read. The circus also thanked its fans for their concern of the riders' health.
